     Aquarius, a masculine, fixed and air sign is ruled by the planet, Saturn (and old ruler). However, modern astrologers have assigned Uranus-planet of surprises, upheaval,  revolutions and original ideas-as its ruler.

     These people love humanity and the life principle. They see in mankind an exalted future where a universal harmony is the natural scheme. Utopian societies of the past were probably created by Aquarians. They see good in everything and are impersonal in their attitude. They manage to get along with everyone and seldom find fault in persons or situations. However, they are not martyrs like Pisceans.

     Whatever work the Aquarian gets involved in, it must have a touch of culture and idealism. They never choose an uninteresting job as a life work. They are very original in ideas and methods, and in this sign you find many inventors, electricians, designers, writers, scientists, and revolutionaries.

     They can accomplish a great deal in very little time and with half the energy that most people put into a task. They are naturally able people, and inject into almost any task some improvement in method. Aquarians have it in their makeup to change any condition in the life that appears to them unhealthy or lacking in progress.

     They enjoy human contacts and are most social, friendly people. They love to entertain and frequently collect all kinds of queer people under their roof. They are inclined to trust everyone and seldom doubt a hard-luck story. To the Aquarian, a person is never entirely bad even when he commits wicked actions.

     These natives make the best friends of any of the Zodiacal types. In matters of love and romance, they prefer universal love over personal love. They look for some mutual  mental interest in the loved one. Their manner toward a one to one relationship is rather aloof and distant. Their friendships are of the mind and spirit and they are not interested in physical attraction. They really dislike having to deal with strong emotions and possessiveness in people as they themselves are usually even-tempered people and aloof.

     In all matters of human conduct, the Aquarian  is above reproach than any other Zodiacal types. These natives are glib talkers and can talk themselves out of  any sticky situation.

     Aquarians want to raise the mental standard of the whole world. To them it is more important to make a man think than eat. They believe that only when all men are responsible mentally will true happiness prevail.

     Aquarians do not like to see anyone suffer and will go to any lengths to avoid this. They have an instinctive  understanding of human nature coupled with great tolerance for human weakness.

     They make excellent parents. They are reasonable and understanding, but they rarely spoil a child. They give  a child freedom to develop as an individual and at the same time, guiding him and gently correcting his faults.

     The parts of the body that is ruled by this sign are the calves of the legs and ankles as well as the fluid-carrying vessels of the body, especially the lymph glands. Aquarians health is usually sound, but they could suffer from obscure nervous disorders. While they are mentally overactive, they dislike physical  exercise.

     Aquarians are most compatible with people who have a moon in Aquarius as well as other Aquarians, Geminis and Libras. Leos are too aggressive and Scorpios too possessive and passionate for them. Taureans  are too conservative and tradition bound.
