     Make sure that you  match the degree of any planet and its sign given in this report with planets in your natal chart and in which house it is located. This is the area being activated this month in your natal chart.

      Mars retrograde since November 15 continues in retrograde motion till the 30th when it will station direct (@24° Gemini). Once it goes direct you will be able to initiate new projects or act on ones that are in the planning stage. Things since November 15 have progressed very slow since we are not sure as to how to use are energy. If we act too aggressively, we might do damage to our plans or initiatives. Staying put and watching how others react to us might be a better strategy during a Mars retrograde. Timing is very important and we may need to just go with the flow for awhile. We need to go inward and decide how we want to invest our energy. 

    Since Mars is retrograding in Gemini this month, we should reflect how well we communicate with others concerning our initiatives and plans. Do we communicate well enough with others so that we gain their support for our endeavors?

     Pluto will reach the final degrees of Sagittarius this month. The zealous flavor of Sagittarius will end and Pluto will enter the conservative and responsible sign of Capricorn on the 25th. We will now become more aware of the necessity of being more responsible about taking actions that are only based on spontaneous and adventurous impulses. Crusades are definitely
not popular anymore. 

     Mars in latter degrees of Gemini and retrograde is in orb of an opposition  to Pluto in Sagittarius throughout the month. The exact conjunction will occur on the 2nd (@ 29°Gemini/Sagittarius). Our "ego" really feels a great deal of strength now and it could intensify into aggression. Taking action or reacting violently  to an issue just because we you feel righteous about it may cause more harm than good. Be more cautious with spontaneous action at this time as you really need to consider what consequences your actions will bring about. Lack of communication also may cause you to assume and act destructively toward others based only on a miscommunication. In other words, "think before you act making sure that you have gathered full and accurate information from others!"

    Dreadful news of cruel crimes might appear as the result of the above aspects. Some of the harsh realities of the aspect will be somewhat mitigated by the closeness of Jupiter in Sagittarius. A benevolent planet, it can cause things to turn out o.k. in the end. It causes us to think positively and upbeat about ourselves and others. A good thing! 

     On the 6th Venus squares Saturn (@ 8°Sagittarius/Virgo). Relationships are hard and they produce more worry than joy as they are bogged down with heavy responsibilities. Sun and Uranus are also in a sextile pattern (@15°Capricorn/Pisces) which can produce benefits and a freer form of expression for those who have these planets in their natal chart.

     A New Moon Day is a very powerful day. A good day to start brand new things and watch them grow. This month's New Moon is in the sign of Capricorn so you should make a small list of things you would like to achieve this month. Capricorn concerns have to do with success, reaching goals, accomplishment, being sensible, authority, awareness of opportunities, etc. Choose the areas of your life that you would like to see improvement and work hard on them during the month.

     Venus squares Uranus (@15°Sagittarius/Pisces on the 12th. Relationships are erratic and unstable. People want excitement, new stimulation, edgy fun and unattainable ideals not stability!

     On the 16th Venus sextiles Neptune (@20°Sagittarius/Aquarius), a positive and satisfying aspect. We see the best in everyone with a spiritual, congenial sensitivity. Love and friendship is flavored with euphoria.

     Venus opposes Mars (@24°Sagittarius/Gemini). A great deal of lively energy is brought in with this aspect. Both are social planets so there are a lot of connections occurring. Some of them my not be "too fruitful!.

     On the 20th Jupiter trines Saturn (@7°Virgo/Capricorn). Goals can be achieved on this day with great results. You could receive awards and payoffs which will encourage you to broaden your ambitions. Go for it!.

     On the 22nd Mercury conjuncts Neptune(@21° Aquarius). Though are thinking is more enlightened and we seem to have  more intuition and creativity, realistically we are not thinking clearly. So watch whatever facts come your way on this day closely!. Also on the 28th, Mercury stations retrograde (@23° Aquarius). During a Mercury retrograde you should not make any major decision or sign any important document or buy any large item. When Mercury stations direct on February 19, decisions made during the retrograde may alter a lot due to new information. It is a good time however to finish old projects, clean out closets and finish unfinished business. Definitely, not a good time to initiate and put into motion a brand new project!

     Venus will conjunct Pluto (@29° Sagittarius) on the 24th. Unions change forever under this aspect. This may be the final moment in an intense relationship with pressures and frustrations.

     Venus trines Saturn (@7°Capricorn-Virgo). Relationships are very positive and enjoyable with this aspect. The connections made now are very useful and enduring. A partnership or friendship started now could last a long time.
