      There are several planets in retrograde position this month--Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The tempo is a little slow since we are being asked to reevaluate many issues in our life. These retrograde outer planets are forcing us to look at what is "really important " to us and what values are most dear to us. It really is a good time for reflection rather than forcing our way thru things.

     Mars conjoins Saturn in Virgo throughout much of the month (from the 1st to the 18thm, exact on the 10 @ 5°Virgo). A lot of discipline is required to reach a goal. Frustration is the result as obstacles arise from time to time to test us. We need to use our energy in a specific way to avoid feeling frustrated. Health issues may also arise at this time from all the tension that we feel. We need to watch our diet and start an exercise program which will keep us fit. This aspect, however, can really gives us the energy and purpose to achieve our goals provided we use our energy wisely.

     The Sun, Venus, and Mercury will all travel through the sign of Cancer this month at various times. Since Jupiter is in the sign of Capricorn and retrograde and is in opposition to Cancer, we are torn between wanting to spend a great deal of our time at home with family and wanting to to go out in the world and expand our horizons at work or at our profession. The wise thing to do would be to allot enough time for both so that you do not feel guilty about not spending enough time with your family. 

     The New Moon of each month is a very powerful day. It's a good day to start new projects or endeavors. The New Moon this month is in the sign of Cancer, the sign that rules home and family.  The New Moon is on the 2nd this month. Make a few wishes that day of what you want to achieve concerning your home and family. Your wishes can be in the following areas: real estate, feelings of belonging, mother, security, nurturing, etc., all areas ruled by Cancer. 

     On the 6th Venus trines Uranus @22° Cancer/Pisces. You feel excitement and want something more novel or outrageous in your love life. Flirt a  little and have fun with a lover.

     The Sun trines Uranus on the 14th @ 22° Cancer/Pisces. You feel your independence and want to strike out on your own. You can be an innovator and find a new approach to a project and bring it to completion.

     On the 26th Mars trines Jupiter @ 15° Virgo/Capricorn. A good time to do something physical. Go for a walk instead of driving all the time. Plan a challenging sporting event with a friend. Sweat a little, you will feel better!

     Venus opposes Neptune @23° Leo Aquarius on the 31st. You have romantic thoughts which are quite pleasant even if they are somewhat forbidden. Be careful as you may be deceived or deceive yourself concerning this person.
