              MERCURY RETROGRADE:

A retrograde planet is one that appears to be moving backward in the heavens from the viewpoint of earth, but this is apparent motion only and not actual. Mercury's retrograde cycles happen approximately three times a year.

In Greek mythology, Mercury is Hermes, the winged messenger.  Because the planet Mercury governs communications of all types, during this retrograde period of three weeks, communications can become confused and entangled leading to potential misunderstandings with others. However, these will clear up when Mercury goes direct.

During this period one should not start new ventures, sign contracts, make travel plans or take any legal action. Whatever project you start during this period, it will be subject to delays and postponements  It is a good period to study and assimilate information, gather information and  do research. "Plan, don't act on issues" is a good axiom for a Mercury Rx. It is also a good time to make sure your legal documents are in order. Electronic and computer problems are numerous during these periods. The purchase of electronic items and vehicles should be done after Mercury goes direct.  Mercury Rx gives you a chance to re-vise, re-do, and  re-create and to reassess your overall direction in life. Good time also to search for any missing  item.

While Mercury retrograde can indicate unexpected disruptions in daily life, its cycle recurs regularly in nature and should be viewed as a part of the natural rhythm of life.
