New Moon-- October 11 at 12:01 a.m.  EDT --17°-20' Libra (New Moon--Moon conjoins the Sun)

Full Moon--October 25 at 11:53 p.m.  EDT -- 2°-23' Taurus (Full Moon--Moon opposes Sun).

       Venus trines Pluto @ 26° Leo/Sagittarius on the 3rd. This aspect intensifies and deepens the love nature. Since Venus is in Leo, it is a good time to upgrade or transform your wardrobe. 

     Mercury is Retrograde for much of the month, from the 11th to November 1. A Retrograde period is certainly not a good time for starting new projects or endeavors. It is however a good period to finish existing projects and planning for the future. Do not purchase any large vehicle or sign any important papers at this time. Allow yourself plenty of time to get to appointments and expect delays or cancelled meetings. Communications are particularly unclear and fuzzy so make sure that you read and check thoroughly all documents before adding your signature to them. Once Mercury stations on November 1, you can conduct business as usual.

     Mercury is actually traveling in Retrograde motion in the sign of Scorpio (from the 11th to the 23rd). We will be reevaluating  our emotional connection with others--either sexual or financial. It's a good time think about these matters and whether they are satisfying for us or whether we should make changes. Are our existing connections with others good or bad for us? How can we change them so that they bring us peace and security? These are matters that we need to reflect on during this period.

     Venus conjoins Saturn @ 4° Virgo on the 13th--effective till 21st. Our social skills have to be practical to bring us results. We will not be able to simply party and have fun. Such activities have to lead to some practical result that adds stability to our lives. We feel unwanted and unattractive and somber at times. We get pretty serious about our connections with others.

     The Sun in Libra sextiles Jupiter in Sagittarius during much of the month. We will have the opportunity to express ourselves in relationships with others that will further our advancement in a positive way. These two energies flow nicely together and things can be accomplished.

     The Sun in Libra trines Neptune in Aquarius through much of the  month (from the 5th to 23rd). This is a very idealistic time when our relationships with our friends  are likely to be quite harmonious and supportive. Partnerships should work and develop very nicely.

     The New Moon each month is a Power Day, a very favorable day to start things. This month's New Moon is in the sign of Libra and occurs on the 11th. On this day you should make a small list of wishes concerning things you would like to accomplish. Since the New Moon is in Libra your list might include such topics as marriage, partnerships, cooperation, peace, harmony, beauty, refinement, etc.--all ruled by Libra. Always start New Things on the New Moon Day!

     Neptune stations direct in Aquarius (@ 19°) on the 31st. We are somewhat confused at first. We have been reevaluating our existing relationships and friendships for the last five-and-a-half months. Once the motion goes direct, we feel the energy that coerces us to make the necessary changes in our relationships and friendships. If these relationships are not supportive and good for us, we should modify or end them. Now we can ACT on our plans and hunches.
