     Pisces, a water and mutable sign, is ruled by the planet, Neptune. People ruled by  this planet are very tuned in to music, poetry, romance, dreams, imagination and art. Pisceans see life mostly through "rose-colored" glasses.

     Refusing to see the obvious, these people see people and situations through their eyes only and they end up at times being very shocked and hurt when reality sets in. They are so sensitive to their environment that if it becomes too harsh for them, they will tune it out. It is perhaps a good survival skill for them, but carried too far they can loose their grip on reality.

     Being a "double-fish" and mutable, a Piscean can swim in and out of situations appearing to be two different personalities. They can be very elusive and hard to catch. The need to melt totally with their loved ones-body and soul. At the same time they need to wander away and be alone to recharge their inner resources.

     Pisceans are amiable, sweet-tempered people, very socially inclined and exceedingly likable. But their character lacks direction and they themselves do not really know what  they want. Their sympathy is boundless. They know exactly how everyone feels, with more intensity than the person with the pain.

     These people cannot be depended upon from one moment to the next, and the expression of their thoughts changes with their audience. They consider themselves truthful, while in reality the devious quality of their mind and their complicated desires, (often dark and questionable), make them the most untruthful of all the Zodiacal signs. To the Piscean, telling untruths is a part of his own code of self-deception. A Piscean will never admit that he is capable of a dishonest or unethical act.

     Pisceans love the unknown and often study the occult, spiritualistic and esoteric fields.

     People born under this sign have a hard time adjusting to real life. Being so sensitive to their environment and not really knowing what they want, they have a hard time coping with the mundane things in life. They dislike boundaries, preset agendas and established goals. They prefer their dreams and imagination. Sometime the world is too harsh for the Piscean.

     These people succeed as musicians, poets, and ministers or in the healing professions. They are interested in the world of illusion and gravitate toward photography, motion-pictures, cosmetics, costumes, etc.

     Pisceans are not very robust people. They have rather a weak constitution and are so susceptible to suggestion that they can work themselves into a state where any illness is possible. They have little resistance and succumb to exposure. They suffer from illness so much during the life that they sometimes contract the drug habit. More than any other Zodiacal sign, Pisceans resort to drugs and alcohol to ease their pain.

     Pisceans of both sexes often become fat during early middle age because of overeating, overdrinking, and no exercise. In love and marriage the Piscean is at home. Both men and women love domestic life and they are most willing of all the Zodiacal types to carry out the romantic legend of lover and sweetheart throughout the married life. They show great affection in the home and flatter the mate with little attentions and gestures of affection.

     Pisces rules the feet and the excretory fluids of the body. Afflictions to the Sun can cause tuberculosis or trouble in either of these areas

     People with Moon in Pisces are most compatible with this sign plus other Pisceans, Cancer (June 21 to July 23) and Scorpios (October 23 to November22).Virgos, Gemini and Sagittarius lack the emotional responsiveness so necessary for a Piscean's happiness.
